Bruce Lee with his martial arts master Ip Man, the subject of Wong Kar-wai’s upcoming movie The Grandmaster.

Bruce Lee was an incredibly talented student of Ip Man’s Wing Chun style, but he got in tons of trouble by beating up obnoxious peers in street fights, including sons of powerful gang bosses and police captains, forcing him to get the hell out of Hong Kong by the time he was 18 and start a new life washing dishes and bussing tables in San Francisco.

What! A new film about Ip Man? It’ll be hard to top Donnie Yen…In the first film anyways, the second kinda sucked balls.
